D8 Tri-County Riders Refund Policy Updated December 15, 2007
Day of show entry fees are non-refundable with
the exception of an injured horse or rider. If this is the case, you will
need one of our judges to verify the injury (show day) or a note from your
doctor or your horse's vet (pre-entry refund requests). Refund deadlines
are 7 days from the date of the show.
Pre-entry fees are refundable in the form of a show
voucher to be used within the next 6 months. Pre-entries can pull out of
a show for any reason and receive the show voucher as long as they contact the
show secretary by noon of the Friday before the show.
If you pre-enter a show and the show is canceled,
you will have a choice of a voucher to use within the next 6 months or a full
refund.
District 8 Membership fees are non-refundable.Your
CGA State membership is separate from your district membership. It is also
non-refundable.

Each competitor will be responsible for any
injury that may be occasioned to any person or animal or damage to any property
while on the ground by any horse owned or in his/her custody, or control, and
shall indemnify and hold harmless the California Gymkhana Association and the
D8 Tri-County Riders, their officials and directors individually and
collectively, and corresponding organizations, clubs, and arena owners, if any,
from and against all charges and expenses of every kind and nature whatsoever
arising out of or which may incur by reason of any accident, injury or damage
to person or property caused by the ownership completion or custody of control
of any animal competitor. Presentation of signed entry from and/or
membership application shall be deemed acceptance of this release throughout
the entire show season for any subsequent CGA sanctioned function in which you
or your child may participate.
Release of
Liability CGA State Policy
Entry forms have release of
liability on them. The rider MUST sign these forms themselves. If the
rider is a minor
the LEGAL parent or guardian MUST sign these forms. NO EXCEPTIONS can be made per our State
Office.
If you have invited a friend to ride
with us for the first time and their parent will not be with them at the show -
please let them know that they will need to have their entry form signed by the LEGAL parent or guardian before
being allowed to enter the show.
Thank you all for your help in
spreading this news. We do not want to have to turn away riders because
of this policy.

Remember parents and legal guardians... All CGA
entry forms including district forms must be signed by a parent or legal
guardian for all minors participating in CGA events. There are no exceptions to
this rule! A permission slip from a parent or guardian is not acceptable. There must be a wet signature on all forms.
